Wet Paint Printing + Design is proud of it's heritage in Wilkes-barre Pennsylvania and it shows with their new project it's starts with a big booth at the WB Farmers Market. On every Thursday on Public Square you will find “Everything Wilkes-barre”. It's t-shirts, mugs, cardboard cutouts, history books and much more about the great city of Wilkes-barre PA.
Taren, who has owned Wet Paint Printing and Design on Horton Street for 27 years, was on Public Square at Thursday’s Farmer Market selling “Everything Wilkes-Barre” under a tent. “We’re glad to offer these items for the city,” Taren said. “At this tent, we’re not selling fruits and vegetables — we’re selling Wilkes-Barre.”
Taren has tee shirts, hats, mugs, bumper stickers, life-size cutouts of John Wilkes and Col. Isaac Barre and shelf buddies — miniature renderings of the Hotel Sterling, the Stegmaier Brewery, Florence Foster Jenkins and the three city high schools — GAR, Coughlin and Meyers — and more.
“It’s time to celebrate our city,” Taren said. “And celebrate its history — its people, its buildings, its heritage.”
